Event: ICT 2018 will be held in Vienna in December

ICT 2018, which will be held in Vienna from December 4th to 6th, is the key event in the research and innovation of Information Technology (ICT) fields in the European Union.

This year, the conference will focus on the priorities of the European Union in the digital transformation of society and industry in the medium and long term. Over the course of three days, professionals in the sector, and especially those who carry out digital transformation activities, will be able to share their experience and vision of the EU in the digital era.

ICT 2018, jointly organized by the Austrian Presidency of the EU and the European Commission, will take place at the Austria Center Vienna (for more information, click here). The event will also be open to European citizens, who will be able to attend conferences and talks with scientists, political actors and other professionals.
In this edition, the following actions will be highlighted:
  • A conference on digital research and innovation policies
  • An exhibition on innovative projects financed with European funds in the field of IT
  • Various networking activities
  • A “village” of innovation and stat-ups to raise awareness of European entrepreneurship.

This edition’s program places value on influential lecturers and debates on the EU’s digital policy.
