Pursuing Regulation (EU) No 910/2014 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 23 July 2014 on electronic identification and trust services for electronic transactions in the internal market, which repeals Directive 1999/93/EC, it is necessary that Electronic Trust Service Providers (PSECs, in Spanish) can identify the Assessment Bodies that are able to certify their compliance with the technical safety standards.

The Spanish company Trust Conformity Assessment Body will evaluate the Trust Service Providers that wish to do so within the framework established by the supervision of the European Accreditation Bodies.

Trust Conformity Assessment Body complies with the requirements of EN 319 403 and of ISO / IEC 17065 and may be eligible for accreditation by a Supervisory Body. The specific regulation will be available shortly.

Electronic Trust Service Providers may request the assessment according to their activity and the different applicable rules:

  • EN 319 401. General Policy Requirements for Trust Service Providers.
  • EN 319 411-1. Policy and security requirements for Trust Service Providers issuing certificates; Part 1: General requirements.
  • EN 319 411-2. Policy and security requirements for Trust Service Providers issuing certificates; Part 2: Requirements for trust service providers issuing EU qualified certificates.
  • EN 319 411-3. Policy and security requirements for Trust Service Providers issuing certificates; Part 3: Policy Requirements for Certification Authorities issuing public key certificates.
